Germline development is one of the most important topics
of developmental biology, given that an embryo is derived from a
germ cell. In the second term of 2003, there were six students
attending this course. Although I tried to explain from the very
basic of developmental biology in general, yet undergraduate
students without Biochemistry or Cell biology background felt difficult
to catch up my lecturing content. Accordingly, this year I modify the
scheme of my teaching in particular for post-graduate students who are
highly interested in germline development.

本課程之主旨在於啟發學生對生殖細胞發育的興趣,解析生殖細胞發育的機制,並訓練對當代重要
研究結果之數據判讀。

3. Principle of germline development (III): germ-cell
differentiation
4. Germline development in the fly Drosophila melanogaster
5. Germline development in the worm C.elegans

7. Germline development in the mouse Mus musculus and other mammals
8. Germline development in the non-model organisms

Every topic includes lecture and paper presentation.
